Description

Kewpie doll / child, with small bird cage, now empty. Fossil ruru huge in the night sky. And reality held in its own cage. A child is fortunate who belongs where death is accepted. With family who sit with the dying and the dead. Who sing, tell stories, weep and laugh.. A tradition to cling to, a place to belong. Compare with a society which hides the old, the injured, the dying and the dead. Which does not, can not, talk about death or dying. Has myths, or lies, or denial.

Other info

Can either hang or stand, but should be out of easy reach. The bird fossil is permanently preserved but could be damaged by any more than a gentle touch.
